About me
Hey there, my name is Emily Sobecki. I graduated from Ball State University in 2017. I majored in Photojournalism and minored in Digital Publishing. I got started in photography in high school. Since then, photography has become a passion for me and something that makes me happy. I took two film photography classes in high school and also received dual credits from taking photography classes from two different colleges in high school. The summer of 2015, I interned as a photographer at The Herald-Times in Bloomington, Indiana, and had a great experience. In the summer of 2016, I interned as a photographer and designer for Indianapolis Monthly. I also interned as a photographer at The Elkhart-Truth in the same summer. I have photographed and designed for the Ball Bearings Magazine and the Daily News Newspaper at Ball State. I was the photographer and page layout designer for Leader Publications in Niles, Michigan for three and a half years. I am currently a photographer and videographer for WSBT-TV, a local tv station in the South Bend, Indiana area. I like to take a variety of pictures such as portraits, landscape, animals, international photography, sports and still photography. I enjoy being a multimedia creator and learning more about design, photography and videography. Let me know how we can work together. Thank you for visiting my page!
